Palo Alto, Calif. • Utah’s frustration finally ended Thursday night at Maples Pavilion, where the Utes won a basketball game for the first time in the program’s Pac-12 era.
The Utes rallied for six points down in the second half to beat Stanford 70-66.
Parker Van Dyke's driving layup gave Utah a 65-63 lead entering the final minute and the Utes held on, thanks to some good defense and just enough free throws.
Sedrick Barefield led the Utes with 18 points. Donnie Tillman added 11 and Van Dyke had 10 for Utah (10-8, 4-2 (Pac-12).
