Salt Lake City – This school year, thousands of children will lack the supplies they need to enter the classroom ready to learn. United Way of Salt Lake will host its annual Stuff the Bus Project with more than 600 volunteers. Over the past few months, companies, community groups, and individuals have been holding school supply drives, and on Saturday, Aug. 4, volunteers will stuff over 5,000 backpacks with the donated supplies. The event will kick off with a celebration breakfast and other festivities.
