Snow in the Rockies has prompted the rap-rock duo Twenty One Pilots to postpone tonight’s concert at Vivint Smart Home Arena in downtown Salt Lake City.
In a statement, the band wrote that “snowfall has made it impossible for us to make it to Salt Lake City in time for our show. As tough as this decision was, we could not justify endangering our crew on the slick roads through the mountains.”
The band performed Sunday night at the Pepsi Center in Denver. A winter storm across Colorado had dumped 4 to 7 inches of snow there by Monday morning, with icy roads in many places, the Denver Post reported.
