Through The Lens: Juneteenth Celebration

June 19, 1865 marked the legal end of enslavement of Black People in the United States, now known as Juneteenth. During RSL's week-long celebration of the Independence Day of Black people in America we teamed up with our supporters and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC to create a tifo to honor and remember the important day in our nation's history. The tifo was displayed during the match on June 18, the day prior to Juneteenth.

CELEBRATE FREEDOM

During Friday's match against the Vancouver Whitecaps the supporters unveiled a tifo honoring the Juneteenth holiday.
