It’s General Conference weekend in Salt Lake City, which — according to local myth — just about guarantees rain, right?
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints headed to the Conference Center for weekend sessions won’t need raincoats, unless they’re out and about on Friday afternoon, when there’s a 40 percent chance of rain. But the NWS forecast calls for it to be clear and sunny both Saturday and Sunday.
Conference-goers will, however, want to think about wearing jackets or sweaters. Saturday’s forecast high temperature will be near 55, with 7-9 mph winds; on Sunday, it’s expected to be near 61.
