Real Salt Lake was already slated to be without Stephen Sunday on Saturday, but the MLS Disciplinary Committee really hammered that one home after issuing him a suspension for a high boot against AJ DeLaGarza on Wednesday.

There’s a little bit of curiosity here, though. The MLS Disciplinary Committee email specified that Sunny would serve the suspension against FC Dallas this weekend — but he was already set for a yellow card accumulation suspension after being shown a yellow card for exactly the same tackle.
