Real Salt Lake defender Shawn Barry has been called in to the Puerto Rico national team for a friendly against St. Kitts and Nevis.
Barry, 28, has no international appearances to his name. He’s played three matches in 2018, with an injury sidelining him for much of the season so far. During that time, he’s played both at center back and right back.
The match is part of the 2019 CONCACAF Nations League qualification. Puerto Rico is in a qualifying “pot” with Dominica, Grenada, Bahamas, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Bonaire, Saint Lucia, Barbados and Aruba, which means they will face one of those teams on the fourth matchday.
