Real Salt Lake's young, talented midfielder Sebastian Saucedo is moving to Liga MX side Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz on a year-long loan, according to RSL Communications.
News of the move surfaced earlier today, with reports that Saucedo had moved to Veracruz coming from the Mexican club.
Presumably, the move is an effort to get Saucedo more playing time — that's something that's been hard to come by at RSL for the attacking midfielder, partly because he was often used as an injury-time substitute. In 2015, Saucedo played only 168 minutes over nine games for an average of 19 minutes per appearance.
