Ryden Lands on Team of the Week after Two Goal Performance against T2

Real Monarchs SLC opened the home portion of its 2018 regular-season on Saturday, hosting Portland Timbers 2 at Rio Tinto Stadium, ultimately walking away 4-2 victors over T2. Notching two goals in his first start with the Monarchs was DF Kalen Ryden who’s two headed efforts in the first half solidified a spot on the United Soccer League’s Team of the Week for Week 3. Ryden scored the club’s second and third goals on the afternoon in the 7^th and 35^th minutes against T2, helping the club to remain undefeated in home opening matches with a 3-0-1 record.
