Rusnak called to Slovakia for friendly, Euro qualifier

While most of Real Salt Lake is getting a bit of a break from extended action, designated player Albert Rusnak is getting very much the opposite.

He’s been called up to Slovakia for an exhibition against Jordan and a Euro 2020 qualifier against Azerbaijan.

Those matches take place on June 6 and June 11, respectively.

This will rule Rusnak out of RSL’s U.S. Open Cup match against LAFC, but it should not rule him out of any further matches.

It will of course be interesting to see if Rusnak plays; he suffered an injury and was withdrawn against Montreal Impact, and he did not make the bench against New York Red Bulls.
