On Monday, MLSsoccer.com announced its Team of the Week for Week 3 and Real Salt Lake’s Rubio Rubin and Freddy Juarez were recognized for their performances in the club’s 3-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City on Saturday.
Rubin was selected having scored a second half brace on his RSL home debut to help secure the victory in front of 9,842 fans in Sandy. Juarez was selected as the Week 3 Coach of the Week for leading his team to its second consecutive victory to start the 2021 season.
