Real Salt Lake won their third consecutive match as they knocked off the Seattle Sounders for the second time in just eight days, this time with a 2-0 scoreline.
Mike Petke trotted out almost the same lineup that took down Houston earlier in the week, aside from two changes: Joao Plata instead of Bofo Saucedo, and Kyle Beckerman in place of Nick Besler.
While RSL had some great attacking play in the first half, Damir Kreilach had the first real golden chance of the game for the home side, when he toe-poked the ball past the Seattle defense to put himself unmarked in front of goal.
