Coming off of two straight wins for the first time this season, Real Salt Lake will take on the Seattle Sounders for the second time in eight days, hoping to string together a third consecutive win.
Last week’s 1-0 victory at CenturyLink Field was just the latest installment of what has been a back-and-forth series between the two sides. With RSL leading the series with a record of 10W-9L-4D, the teams have been basically dead even since Seattle came into the league in 2009. It’s also worth noting that, until last weekend, the home team in the series had won 13 matches in a row, dating back all the way to March of 2013.
