Real Salt Lake players featured for their respective national teams across several competitions this week as part of this month’s FIFA international window. Here’s how RSL’s stars fared with their national teams:
Corey Baird
The U.S. Men’s National Team faced Cuba on Friday, earning an emphatic 7-0 win at Audi Field in Washington D.C. RSL striker Corey Baird was on the bench for the match and did not feature. Next up for Baird and the USMNT is a match against Canada on Tuesday evening in its second CONCACAF Nation’s League match.
Douglas Martinez
Making his senior national team debut for Honduras, Douglas Martinez started and played eight minutes and notched the second goal in the team’s 2-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday night.
