On Tuesday evening the Real Salt Lake Academy faced off with the Bayern Munich U-15s at the inaugural International Champions Cup Futures presented by Rakuten tournament, falling to the German side 0-2.
Playing against its first international opponent of the tournament, RSL conceded two first half goals that solidified the victory for Bayern.

The week-long tournament at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida runs from July 16-22 features 24 teams from the United States and Europe, made up of some of the world’s best U-14 players, with 8 teams being from Major League Soccer’s Development Academy.
