John Halloran of Equalizer Soccer reported the news today that Utah Royals FC will appoint Craig Harrington as their new head coach.
Harrington, who has been an assistant coach for the Chicago Red Stars, will move into his first head coaching role in the NWSL. In his time in Chicago, he helped to team make the playoffs both years. He has experience in coaching youth, having worked with LA Galaxy’s academy for several years. He was the Technical Director and Head Coach of the Turks and Caicos national football team (mens) from 2013-2016. Harrington also played in England, where he’s from, most notably with Swindon Town and Oxford United.
