Real Salt Lake will travel to Commerce City for the first time of the 2017 campaign to take on rivals Colorado Rapids as the battle for the Rocky Mountain Cup begins.
Fresh off their snowy 3-0 win over Vancouver, Real Salt Lake (1-3-2, 5 points) jumped up to eighth place in the Western Conference after reaching dead last in the overall standings. Although there are still 28 games left to play, RSL now sits one point outside of the playoffs, which is an indication how quickly a season has the potential to be turned around for any team this early in the year.
