Real Salt Lake » Facility will house practice facilities for RSL, Monarchs and club’s U-18, U-16 teams
Real Salt Lake officials are set to announce plans this weekend for a $50 million soccer complex in Herriman to house everything from the the club's training activities to a charter high school for youth players.
The site will include eight different soccer fields for the Major League Soccer club, its minor league affiliate, the Real Monarchs, and the club's U-16 and U-18 teams. RSL's current training ground is a single, no-frills field in Sandy.
The new facility will also house some of the club's youth training activities and will include a 250-student charter school with a science, technology, engineering and math emphasis.
