SANDY, Utah (Friday, September 28, 2018) – Real Salt Lake (13-11-6, 45 pts., 5th West) returns to the road for a nationally-televised match on Sunday against rival Sporting Kansas City at Children’s Mercy Park. RSL is in the midst of a playoff chase and will be playing in its first match on FS1 this season, going up against SKC in a premier Western Conference matchup. RSL is unbeaten in the last three matches against Kansas City at 2-0-1 – with all three meetings at Rio Tinto Stadium. After a 2-0 loss in Atlanta last week, Salt Lake halted a three-game winning streak and two-game road winning streak.
