Real Salt Lake: RSL’s Herriman facility to be called Zions Bank Real Academy

Herriman • Dell Loy Hansen's grandiose vision now has a name.

Real Salt Lake's owner announced Wednesday afternoon that his estimated $60 million soccer facility in Herriman will be known as the Zions Bank Real Academy.

The complex, located on a 132-acre plot in Herriman, is expected to be home base of day-to-day operations for RSL, its USL affiliate Real Monarchs and the three RSL youth club teams that are scheduled to relocate from Casa Grande, Ariz., this fall.

The Zions Bank Real Academy is located 20 minutes west of Rio Tinto Stadium.

"For more than 140 years, Zions Bank has been synonymous with community," said Zions Bank president and CEO Scott Anderson said in a release.
