SANDY, Utah (Monday, June 3, 2019) – Real Salt Lake MF Albert Rusnák has been called in to the Slovakian National Team for a friendly against Jordan in Slovakia on June 6 and UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifying match against Azerbaijan in Azerbaijan on June 11.
Slovakia is currently 1-1-0 through the first two matches of UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying and leads Group E. The top two teams in each group qualify for the final tournament, which is scheduled to take place from June 12-July 12 of 2020.
“Albert has been a key factor in our current run of form and this call-up is a testament to what he’s done for Real Salt Lake,” RSL General Manager Craig Waibel said.
