Physical Affair Sees Monarchs Drop First Match of 2019 Season
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Saturday, March 30, 2019) - Real Monarchs SLC (1-1-2, 5 points)fell to its I-15 rival Las Vegas Lights FC 1-0, in a heated affair at Cashman Field.
A bench clearing scuffle rounded out the first half, Lights FC fired into the second half picking up the goal that made the difference with a header through Alex Harlley. The Monarchs nearly found the equalizer through MFs Jack Blake and Maikel Chang, but ultimately the Utah side wasn’t able to find the back of the net.
