Real Monarchs just bolstered their roster in what’s become an ongoing theme of transition and fairly rapid change, bringing in three players, one of which is former MLS player Chandler Hoffman, according to a club-issued press release.
Hoffman, a 26-year-old goalscorer, scored 13 goals for LA Galaxy II in 2014 and 14 goals for Louisville City in 2016. He was signed in 2012 by Philadelphia Union as the 13th overall MLS SuperDraft pick, and he played seven matches during his rookie season.
He later joined LA Galaxy for 2013–2014, and he was more of an impact for their USL side than anything, playing only eight matches for the first team.
