EL PASO, Texas (Saturday, September 19, 2020) – Real Monarchs (3-9-1, 10 points) fell 1-0 to El Paso Locomotive FC at Southwest University Park on Saturday night.
El Paso defender Eder Borelli scored the lone goal of the match for Locomotive FC in the 1-0 victory.
In what was largely a possession-filled first half, the final five minutes of the half ended wildly. In the 45th minute following a Real Monarchs corner kick, midfielder Ricardo Ávila collected the ball in the box and fired a shot on frame, but it was deflected away and out.
