Sandy, Utah (Friday, March 22, 2019) – Utah Royals FC DF Rachel Corsie has been called to the Scotland Women’s National Team for two friendly matches against Chile and Brazil ahead of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Scotland will face Chile on April 5 and then Brazil on April 8, with both matches held in Spain.
Scotland will appear in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup held in France, facing England, Argentina, and Japan in Group D.
The Scottish finished its first tournament of 2019 at the Algarve Cup, with a 1-0 win against Denmark, and astonishing 4-1 win against Iceland to finish fifth in the tournament.
