Police responded to two shootings in Salt Lake County — one in South Salt Lake and the other in West Valley City — on Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting in South Salt Lake, occurred at 3100 South and 300 East, at about 4 p.m., confirmed South Salt Lake spokesman Gary Keller.
The other shooting happened at 4:12 p.m. near 3500 West Parkway Boulevard (about 2700 South), in West Valley City.
West Valley City police said at about 4:45 p.m. they were responding to “a report of a shooting with multiple people injured in the area.”
Investigators don’t yet know whether the two shootings — which about six miles apart — are related.
