Nick Rimando - 5.5 The highlights of the game for Rimando were the punch that led to the rebound Montreal goal and the big save in the first half that kept things from getting out of reach for RSL. Some good, some not so good.
Demar Phillips - 7.5 Phillips had a really nice showing. The goal that RSL got was all his doing. His effort to run the length of the field, beat two defenders to keep the ball in play on the end line, and then nutmeg the defender to get the ball to Plata was something you likely won’t see again for a long time if ever.
