One person near Salt Lake City’s Pioneer Park is dead after a report of shots fired, police said Wednesday evening.
Officers attempted to stop a wanted male adult who fled. The suspect ran into a building in the Pioneer Park area, and police found the suspect deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police believe there is no threat to the public.
