Part of Interstate 15 closed in Utah County for ‘police incident’

Authorities shut down northbound Interstate 15, north of Center Street in Provo, on Wednesday evening for a “police incident.”

The Utah Department of Transportation tweeted about the closure at 6:50 p.m. It estimated that the road would reopen about 7:50 p.m.

A Utah County dispatcher said the Sheriff’s Office and multiple other law enforcement agencies responded to the scene.
