Most of the state was under a winter weather advisory Friday morning, as light snow that fell overnight began to pick up along the Wasatch Front.

Hazardous driving conditions were expected, especially on freeways from Ogden down to just north of St. George, the National Weather Service said, specifically citing slick conditions on Interstate 15, Interstate 70, Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 89.

Snow accumulations will likely be lighter than they were with the storm earlier in the week with one to three inches in the western valleys, two to five inches in south central valleys and five to 10 inches in mountains south of I-80.
