It seems that Norwegian international Elise Thorsnes is likely departing Utah Royals FC based upon various social media activity. Thorsnes played only 353 minutes in the National Women’s Soccer League. In those minutes, three of which were starts, she took two shots putting neither one of them on target.
Thorsnes arrived with high hopes after scoring six goals in nine matches with her previous club Canberra United and twenty-six goals in fifty-eight appearances with Norwegian Club Avaldsnes. The acquirement of Christen Press and the rising performance of Katie Stengel combined with injuries have made it hard for her to get into the starting XI, with the last time the Norwegian played a full 90 minutes being in late April.
