Kianz Froese of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Shkelzen Gashi of the Colorado Rapids and Mario Cruz of the Chicago Fire have been suspended for one game and fined undisclosed amounts.
The MLS on Thursday announced the sanctions stemming from games last weekend.
Froese was cited for endangering an opponent's safety in the 74th minute of the Whitecaps' 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City. Gashi was punished for violating league policy when entering the field of play in the Rapids' 1-0 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy. Gruz did the same in the 54th minute of the Fire's 1-1 draw with Orlando City on Friday night.
