NEW YORK (August 10, 2018) – The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued Toronto FC midfielder Chris Mavinga an undisclosed fine for failure to leave the field in a timely and orderly manner after the final whistle of Toronto’s match against Atlanta United on August 4 (VIDEO).
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued Mavinga an additional undisclosed fine and additional one-game suspension (two-games total) for violent conduct after the final whistle of Toronto’s match against Atlanta United on August 4 (VIDEO). Mavinga, who originally received a red card for his actions, will serve his red card suspension during Toronto’s next MLS Regular Season match on August 12 against New York City FC.
