Letter: Yes, indeed, letter of the law is but a hobby horse

Professor Paul Cassell’s well-argued commentary, “Lessons on legislating from Justice Scalia and Dr. Seuss” (Tribune, April 4), makes clear once again that strict construction, letter of the law, “textualism” is a hobby horse to be called out when wanted and then ridden to any desired destination. Corporations are persons, anyone? Please.
