Ron Overman thinks it is morally and ethically wrong to have to pay to view football games. He urges us to write our networks and congressional representatives to change this. Why are we not equally outraged that we could not watch the first two Democratic debates because we had to pay for cable to view them? I could only view the third debate on PBS. We can never have informed voting if we can’t learn about the candidates and see them in action. All political debates, be they local or national and of either party, should be free.
