The crisis is about the weapons designed to kill as many people as you can in the shortest amount of time. It's about fragmenting bullets, high-capacity magazines and the rest, the only purposes of which is to maim and kill as quickly and viciously as possible.
For 33 years, it's been illegal to own machine guns. This happened when the mob was killing dozens of people on the street. So, why do we allow you to own the modern, improved version of machine guns — AK47 or AR15?
