The Utah State Bar has determined that “human error” is to blame for the photo of a topless woman that was emailed to attorneys across the state earlier this week.
The Bar on Monday afternoon sent an email with two images to Utah lawyers. The first was an image advertising the Bar’s 2018 Spring Convention in St. George. Beneath it was a photo of a woman’s bare chest.
After an investigation this week, the Utah State Bar Commission determined that the inappropriate photo was attached by accident — not the result of any malicious attack.
Bar officials said Friday that the inappropriate image was not in the Bar’s database and the image contained no malware.
