Real Salt Lake’s moves for MLS veterans Chad Barrett and David Horst seem to be more-or-less official at this point, with both players now acknowledging the move publicly.
In an Instagram post today, Horst, 31, thanked fans of Houston Dynamo, where he played for three years — it was the first club where he established himself as an MLS starter after time at Real Salt Lake and Portland Timbers.
Further, Horst described Real Salt Lake as “an ambitious and successful organization,” which, well, yeah — that’s our hope.
Barrett, 31, announced on Twitter that he was joining Real Salt Lake for his 13th season in the league.
