Everything was in line for a Utah Grizzlie victory against the Rapid City Rush. Riding a seven-game winning streak against their divisional foe, in possession of a one-goal lead with 20 minutes to play and facing the Rush backup goaltender, Christian Frey, Utah was close to climbing above .500 in the divisional standings for the first time this season. But all streaks must come to an end. Utah let Rapid City hang around and gain confidence and with two goals provided by Pavel Jenys and Jack Walker in the third period, the Rush came back to win, 2-1.
Turning Point: With the game tied at 1-1 and precious minutes remaining, Utah goaltender Kevin Carr was penalized for a delay of game.
