REAL MONARCHS DRAWS 1-1 WITH SWITCHBACKS FC
First Half Goal from Bode Davis Secures Road Point for Monarchs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Col. (Saturday, September 26, 2020) – Real Monarchs (3-9-2, 11 points) played to a 1-1 draw against regional rivals Switchbacks FC at Weidner Field on Saturday night.
Midfielder Bode Davis scored his second goal of the season for the Monarchs while Christian Volesky scored the lone goal for Colorado Springs.
The Monarchs struck first in a fast-paced first half. In the 21st minute, midfielder Sam Brown chested the corner kick down towards Davis who then buried the ball into the back of the net to take the early lead.
