Devon Sandoval is back at Real Salt Lake.
Not for long, of course, but with Yura Movsisyan recovering from a hip injury and Jordan Allen succumbing to a small injury on the back of the MLS Homegrown game, the sturdy striker was brought back from his loan at Rayo OKC.
RSL Communications confirmed that Sandoval’s return was intended to be short-term.
It’s particularly interesting because Sandoval played in yesterday’s Rayo OKC match, scoring the opening goal along the way.
Rayo OKC coach Alen Marcina said in a club-released piece that Sandoval is a “great asset and addition.
