A poor start to a game with Los Angles FC going up by two goals within the first 30 minutes. The Angels played lock-down defense every time RSL got the ball in a threatening position, LAFC shut it down. The home team came out of the half treading water, and went down by a third goal before finally managing to get on the scoreboard just past the hour mark to prevent a shutout. Alas it came far too late to make any difference as the damage had already been done. RSL did have their chances, but in the end they could not overcome the Angels’ defensive efforts, and committed far too many errors.
