Chris Schuler could make his first appearance for Real Salt Lake since July 11, 2015 against the biggest opponent the club will face this year.
Schuler is one of eight players called up from Real Monarchs to the first team for tonight’s friendly. He joined the team near the start of the year in a bid to reach full fitness, opening a potential door back to Real Salt Lake.
That hasn’t quite panned out in its fullest sense yet, but Schuler has, in our understanding, been training with Real Salt Lake in recent weeks, rather than with the Monarchs.
