Provo • Sandwiched between a trip to Maui earlier in the week and a road game next Wednesday at rival Utah, the BYU Cougars took care of business Saturday with a 98-64 win over Montana Tech.
At the Marriott Center, Jake Toolson scored 17 points while T.J. Haws (15), Zac Seljaas (14) and Kolby Lee (11) also got into double figures for the Cougars. The visiting Orediggers were paced by Taylor England's 16 points.
Brigham Young (6-3) never trailed in the contest and grabbed its first double-digit advantage eight minutes into the game. Montana Tech (4-4) kept the margin at 10, at 31-21, when BYU went on a 14-3 run late in the first half.
