Bees win a wild one, beating the Memphis Redbirds 13-11

Jarrett Parker hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to give the Salt Lake Bees a wild 13-11 victory over the host Memphis Redbirds in a PCL game Thursday night.

Jared Walsh led off the ninth with a walk and one out later, Parker sliced an 0-2 pitch just inside the left-field foul pole to put Salt Lake in front.

The Bees trailed 8-5 going into the seventh inning, but Taylor Ward tied the score with a three-run homer. Later in the inning, Parker delivered an RBI double, Kaleb Cowart followed with an RBI single and the final run of the inning came in on an error to give Salt Lake an 11-8 lead.
