Kyle Beckerman and Nick Rimando are part of a select group of American players (read: 40 of them) called up to a preliminary roster for the U.S.'s involvement in the 2016 Copa America — and that group is set to be whittled down to 23 by May 20.
The U.S. training camp opens on May 16, and Beckerman and Rimando are likely to miss Real Salt Lake's away match in Kansas City on May 21. If they make the final cut (which, let's face it, they probably will), they'll be involved in matches against Puerto Rico (May 22), Ecuador (May 25) and Bolivia (May 28) before the tournament's start.
