The owners of Eborn Books, a Main Street staple, say they will close their downtown location at the end of June.
Bret Eborn, who runs the store with his wife Cindy, told FOX 13 that their landlord is renovating the building and Eborn Books must move out.
“From what I’ve heard, the owners are trying to attract more restaurants and bars into the downtown,” Bret said.
The owners say they carry tens of thousands of books in their downtown location and that they’ve become known for carrying classics, “very weird” science fiction novels and rare works, like a $5,000 signed copy of former Latter-day Saint president Thomas S.
