A 3-year-old was killed and a baby critically injured Sunday in a crash at a Provo intersection, police said.
About 4:48 p.m., a driver going south on University Avenue hit a vehicle that was facing south in the left turn lane at 3700 North, according to Provo police Detective Nick Dupaix. He said the vehicle that was struck was third in line to turn east and the impact caused a chain reaction crash involving the two cars ahead of it.
The children were in the vehicle that was struck, and their parents suffered “moderate” injuries, Dupaix said.
