Wisconsin enters Saturday’s contest on the longest winning streak any single opponent has had over Purdue. They have won 12 in a row and haven’t lost in West Lafayette since 1997. That’s quite a run. Purdue has not even scored more than 20 points in a game during the run, while the Badgers have often been well over 40. It has been ugly, but last season Purdue kept it close in a 17-9 loss in Madison. Purdue let several opportunities get away, but forced a ton of turnovers.
So what happens this year? As usual, the Badgers boast a strong running game, but the passing attack has struggled mightily.
