Big Ten play begins in earnest this week and the conference has the top two teams in the country PAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLL. While it is great to have Ohio State and Michigan State at 1 and 2, I agree with the article Juan found that the ascension of Purdue (and pray to Cthulu that it happens) is one of the things that needs to happen for the conference to reach hallowed SEC status.
We can only dream of that, however. This week the Indiana schools are facing the top two teams in the nation, and should both spring an upset we can dream of a scenario where Purdue and Indiana play for the Old Oaken Bucket in West Lafayette, then turn around and play again in Indianapolis a week later.
